Affirmative Immigration Program
The Affirmative Immigration Program provides compassionate, high-quality legal services to immigrants seeking safety, stability, and the chance to build a secure future in the United States. We walk with clients step by step through complex processes — including trauma, family separation, and years of uncertainty.
Our mission is dignity, compassion, and justice. Every person deserves the chance to live safely and be reunited with the people they love.
What we help with
We assist with a wide range of affirmative immigration applications and relief.

Family unity and pathways to residency
Family petitions for relatives in the United States and abroad. Consular process support for family-based cases. Adjustment of status, including large clinics that help asylees apply for permanent residency. Green card renewals for lawful permanent residents.

Protection for vulnerable young people
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for children and young adults who have faced abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Humanitarian relief for survivors
U visas for survivors of crimes who have cooperated with law enforcement. T visas for survivors of trafficking. Affirmative asylum for people seeking protection based on persecution or fear of return.

Naturalization and citizenship applications. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for people from designated countries. Advance parole.
